"D" is for Dark Knight

I always thought that the Joker looked the best/scariest when he was seen through glass and the only details you can really make out are his dark eyes and red scar smile. One of the movie posters showed him writing "Why so serious?" where you get this effect. In the film itself there's a quick moment as he's leaving the meeting with all the mobsters (you know, the magic pencil trick scene) where he kicks the door open behind him to leave and as it swings shut you get a glimpse of the Joker behind frosted glass and the smile and the eyes are the only thing that you can really make out. Very cool look. Thought I'd try for that here.

"C" is for Casino Royale

One of my favorite Bond films. This one has more than just exotic locales and great action sequences, there's a bit of great acting too!

"B" is for Blues Brothers

I thought it would be fun to make a "favorite movie alphabet", with a different movie for each letter. I'm still torn on what film to do for "A", so I started with B. After all, they're on a mission from God.

The Teapot!

Here it is, the teapot assignment. Obviously there's a lot to fix and I need to learn to do shading and lighting better, but it was fun.

Thanksgiving Race

I forget how it came up, but my cousin Jill and I got into an argument about who would win in a race.  (I would) and somehow the rest of the family heard about it and so Thanksgiving morning while Liz and I are in Indy we're having a race right on Crowder road!  It'll be a 40-yard dash. May the best ME win!

I think I'm going to have a cape for the race, possibly a Luchador mask.
